Small towns need access to a reliable, efficient wastewater system, a basic need allowing a modern community to thrive. When these systems are updated, economic development and job growth follows. Grant and loan programs, such as from USDA, fully support the financial outlay for smaller towns to upgrade waste water infrastructure and community housing.

This funding can be used for acquiring, constructing, or improving waste water treatment systems and related costs such as engineering, land, permits, start-up operations and maintenance.

 

Funding can also extend to local community based attainable housing for sale and/or rent.

If necessary a grant may be combined with a low cost loan, usually up to 40 years with fixed interest rates.
